Inifinifolders: break the 12 icon per folder limit

Along with wise decisions by apple came silly ones. One of these decisions I feel was the ability to only store 12 icons, 12 soundboard icons in each folder is the limit. I don't understand why apple has made such a limited choice, do you? If we only had 12 apps per folder then we would be only able to hold 12 camera apps, 12 game apps and 12 music apps ECT. Wouldn't that mean you would buy less apps? Or would you create more folders?

Step 1- if you have not jailbroken your iphone or ipod touch plse follow these steps here.( if you have jailbroken please continue to step 2.)

Step 2- open the cydia app and click on manage.

Step 3-click on sources

Step 4- click edit on the top right-> now click add on the top left

Step 5- insert this URL as a source http://www.sinfuliphonerepo.com/

Step 6- add source

Step 7- go to search and search infinifolders, you will see two options, click the option that originates from sinful iphone repo.

Step 8- install and you are done.

Sinfuliphone repository is a safe source to download many cydia apps that you would have to pay for, in the same way that apple apps are cracked and published, sinfuliphone is doing the same to cydia apps. Really helps to navigate your iPhone and break the 12 icon limit per folder rule apple has implemented. Making our lives harder. iPhone has a 11page limit for icons on the springboard. blackberry now able to use iphone IOS.....turn your blackberry to iphone

The blackberry storm was caught in the wild running ios 4.1, infact when advertising the blackberry storm they showed that it could run the ios 4.1 ( thats the iphone 4 os). So why would blackberry show that their mobiles can use io4? Let me guess......because its the best operating system yet released. The blackberry storm is capable of this due to a few factors, the ram is sufficient, the memory is sufficient, its equipped with GPS and wifi ect, but there is one factor that the blackberry didn’t think of, and thats that their mobiles are not capable of a capacitive  screen and are not multi touch sensitive. For any blackberry owners reading this, the iphone is capable of multi touch, meaning that it can sense two fingers (touches) at one. Making it an instrument and a real gaming machine. Below is a advert of this blackberry storm acting as an iphone. I must say that was a silly move for blackberry!!!!

Limera1n Jailbreak

By now if you have come this far you have heard about jailbreaking, so what is this? jailbreak is a method of freeing your iphone from apple and having be able to download third party applications abroad for example "cydia" app will be what you most probably would use in the beginning. when you jailbreak your iphone you will see a Limera1n app that will have cydia in it that you can install. once you do that you have a jailbroken iphone. So the big question is if you jailbreak what do you gain? well as you know apple doesn't allow you to for example have custom themes, or use bluetooth with other phones to exchange data, its not that its not capable its just that apple doesn't allow it, you would also want to use cydia to download apps that let you use your skype on 3G or any other Voip-voice over ip based app. reason being who wants to only you skype on wireless when we always on the move? so jailbreaking using my method below will allow you to do virtually anything to your iphone,including how to get free apps. In my next few blogs i will teach you which is the best apps from cydia and app store to optimize your iphone for working like a slave horse.

The following instructions will help you jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS using Limera1n.

NOTE: If you rely on an unlock, do not update to iOS 4.1 yet as doing so will upgrade your baseband, making it impossible for now to unlock. Either use TinyUmbrella to update to iOS 4.1 without update baseband , or wait for PwnageTool which will help you cook custom firmware files for iOS 4.1 without the upgraded baseband.

Step 1: Download Limera1n from here.

Step 2: Connect your iPhone via USB to your computer and click on “make it ra1n”

Step 3: Now follow the following steps in this order:

• Now wait for the device to enter recovery mode:

• Now hold “Home” + “Power” buttons:

• Release the “Power” button:

• now wait for the device to enter DFU mode:

Step 4: Once you are done with this, you will have the limera1n logo on your iPhone’s screen. Limera1n will now inject the bootrom exploit to pwn your device forever!

Step 5: Jailbreak is done!

Step 6: Now start Limera1n app from your iPhone, and install Cydia as shown in the screenshots below.

Step 7: Now simply restart your device and enjoy the jailbreak!

Unlock for iOS 4.1 (Old Baseband)
There is currently no way to unlock your iPhone on the latest 05.14.02 baseband.

NOTES: please make sure that your itunes is close at this time and not running as it will cause issues. A common problem is that after you jailbreak and download cydia, cydia appears on your springboard but wont open, all you have to do is reinstall cydia from the limera1n app, dont delete the cydia app, simply just reinstall over the old one, also dont rejailbreak the phone.
